Summer Reading Challenge: Week 1 Adventure Awaits

Welcome to the first week of the Summer Reading Challenge!

Whether your child races through books or takes their time, this challenge is designed to be fun, flexible, and easy to join in with.

This week is all about action, mystery, and survival. It’s a chance to dive into a story where something big happens - a journey, a puzzle, or a challenge that keeps you turning the pages.

This week’s challenge:

📖 Read a book with a character who goes on a journey, solves a mystery, or faces a survival challenge.

✍️ Activity: Write a one-page alternate ending or plot twist.

🎨 Bonus: Draw a map of the setting or a key location from the book.
